In high season the RESTAURANTkranichhaus team serves Mediterranean specialities, pasta or prime steaks from north German farms daily from 7a.m. to 10 p.m. and in low season from 9a.m. to 10 p.m. (closed for staff holidays in February). Inside, an open fire crackles, the panorama terrace outside offers a view over the green of the golf course and Lake Vorbeck. Here golfers can play a round or book a tounament package.  The club house is about 10 minutes walk from GUT VORBECK.

Restaurant Schloss Basthorst

The historic Schloss Basthorst lies about 10 minutes drive from GUT VORBECK. It has a spacious Summer terrace with aview over the English park layout and the adjoining Lake Glambeck where you can linger for a while – and enjoy coffee specialities, home and tasty ices or light snacks. The Schloss Restaurant offers French cuisine Mondays to Wednesdaystags from 5 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and Thursdays to Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in a refined combination with traditional Mecklenburg cuisine. There is also a comfortable bar.
